Tom Lachiusa- Candidate for SB |
The National Association of Social Workers Massachusetts
chapter announced on Thursday that they will be supporting Tom Lachiusa in his
bid to become a Selectman in Longmeadow.
Citing his great track record as a social worker for over 20 years, the NASW-MA said that “Lachiusa’s skills as a mediator and a problem solver make him an ideal candidate for public office.” Lachiusa says he is “Excited about the endorsement” and looks forward to using the skills he has gained from his time as a counselor at the Hampden County Jail and his private counseling practice in Longmeadow to “Build alliances and improve the board’s ability to cooperate and solve the problems facing our town.”
Voters in Longmeadow will go to the polls June 9th for their annual town election.
